Yang-Yin Yoga

This class is all about balance.  The yang/yin yoga practice is a mix of dynamic and calmer elements of yoga.

Yang/Yin yoga is a combination of energetic movements, similar to Vinyasa, that build warmth and energizing strength, followed by the more restorative Yin practice to give us a deeper stretch and calm the nervous system and become aware of stillness. 

We start with a grounded meditation to simply arrive in the present moment, followed by a small warm up and energetic flow to build some strength. Then we melting into the yin asanas to connect on a deeper level and create space in stillness and ending with a final relaxation.
